An SEO audit is typically broken down as follows:

  • On-Site SEO – We analyze the key areas of on-site optimization that have the greatest impact on SEO, from keyword integration and URL structure to site usability, Schema markup and much more.
  • Indexation Issues – We analyze the key areas of indexation, from robots files and XML sitemaps to bot loops, page load speed, mobile usability and more.
  • External Linking – We analyze the key areas of external linking in relation to your top ranking competitors so you know where you stand on the competitive front (since all things in Google are relative to other sites).
  • Social Media – We analyze the key areas of social media that are believed to impact organic rankings and traffic. From social visibility and reach to mentions and beyond.

Audit Deliverables Include:

  • SEO Audit Document – The finished audit is delivered as an enhanced PDF. In addition to the findings of the audit, it also includes links out to a wide variety of resources to aid in the implementation of our recommended changes.
  • Keyword and Ranking Research Document – We pull down existing keyword and ranking data for your site from multiple sources, as well as lists of top ranking pages, so you can easily see where the low hanging fruit is from an SEO perspective.
  • Site Crawl Report – We use a customized tool to crawl through your website just as a search engine does, to help us identify key areas in need of improvement.
  • Linking and Social Report – We analyze your top 4 ranking competitors from both a linking and a social perspective, to show you where you sit in relation to your competitors.
    • Pricing:

      Pricing is based on the size and complexity of your site:

      • $2,500 – For small sites (hundreds of pages).
      • $5,000 – For medium sites (thousands of pages).
      • $10,000 – For large sites (tens of thousands of pages).
      • $20,000 – For extra large sites (hundreds of thousands of pages or more).

      We’re often asked if we can audit just part of a site, to keep the price down, and the answer is no. Auditing just a portion of a site with any accuracy actually adds MORE time to the audit process, since many of the tools we use are unable to return data on just a small part of a site (for linking and social signals in particular it can get super tricky). We look at everything that is indexable and that lives in the root domain we’re auditing.

      Not only will our audit provide you with a crystal clear idea of what’s wrong and how to fix it, but it could even be used in litigation to show that a previous SEO company didn’t do what they were supposed to have done. If your site has been penalized by Google Panda or Penguin updates, an audit would be a wise investment.

      Last But Not Least:

      Turnaround time on all audits is 30 days from the date payment is received.

      All audits also include up to 2 hours of review and consulting time via phone, Skype, Google Hangout, etc.

      You can also add an SEO Strategy to any SEO Audit package for an additional $2,500.

      For all of our audit and strategy services we require payment upfront before we begin any work. At this time we only accept electronic payment and will send our invoices via PayPal, which allows you to pay via credit card, debit card, E-Check or bank transfer (no PayPal account required).

      In order to perform the most accurate audit possible, we will require access to your web analytics platform and Google Webmaster Tools. If access cannot be provided, our audit will not be as thorough as it otherwise would have been.
